What is Swedish Herbal Elixir?
Maria Treben's Swedish Herbal Extract is an alcoholic tincture composed of a careful selection of bitter plants, following Maria Treben's traditional recipe. It is used as a digestive, depurative and circulatory tonic, being a versatile natural remedy with properties recognized for generations.
Ingredients
Wormwood powder (Artemisia absinthium), natural camphor (Cinnamomum camphora), saffron (Crocus sativus), senna leaves (Cassia acutifolia), manna (Fraxinus ornus), myrrh (Commiphora myrrha), angelica root (Angelica archangelica), carlina vulgaris root (Carlina vulgaris), cedoaria root (Curcuma zedoaria), rhubarb root (Rheum rhabarbarum), Venetian teriaca (Veronica officinalis), alcohol 32% vol.
Instructions for use
Take 1 capful 3 times a day, diluted in water, juice or infusion (not milk).
Adults: 1 teaspoon (approx. 25 drops), 3 times a day, preferably after meals.
Children: 2 to 4 drops per year of age.
It can also be used after heavy meals or as part of an 8 to 10 week cleansing treatment in autumn or during seasonal changes.
