chlorite<\/strong> is a very effective disinfectant, it is the raw material for obtaining chlorine dioxide, which is really the chemical that has the maximum purifying properties.<\/p><p>In order to transform into chlorine dioxide, sodium chlorite needs to come into contact with acidity. So we can activate sodium chlorite with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dioxvitae.es\/en\/activators\/\"><strong>Dioxvitae activator (hydrochloric acid)<\/strong><\/a> to obtain an immediate effect or without activator giving a prolonged effect slowly activated by the acidity produced by pathogens and toxins.<\/p><p>If activated, the following is used <strong>one drop of sodium chlorite for every drop of activator<\/strong>, by first activating it in a glass container, waiting 30 seconds and pouring the mixture into the water to be treated.<\/p><p>In slightly polluted water (without odor or color), 1 drop of sodium chlorite is applied for every 5 liters of water to be treated.
